The Great Northern App uses a passwordless registration process. Be sure to have a valid email address available. Check your email for a link to complete registration.

To participate, download the app and follow the steps to create an account. Any BCF vouchers, prizes or entries into The Great Northern Greatest Catch that you have won will be stored in your account in the app. Without the app, you will not be able to participate.

This contest is open to all Australian residents aged 18 or older. Terms & Conditions apply.

• Great Northern Case: Purchase a specially marked case of Great Northern, download the app, and enter the code found inside the case for a guaranteed instant BCF voucher win worth $10, $20 or $100.

• At the bar:
  • 2 or more pots, pints or schooners or a jug of Great Northern Original, Great Northern Super Crisp or Great Northern Ginger Beer

  • 2 or more bottles or cans of Great Northern Original, Great Northern Super Crisp or Great Northern Zero, to receive a scratch card.
    
    Scratch the card to reveal, and enter your code in the app to see if you've won a BCF voucher (1 in 3 chance to win).

Max 1 entry per day for each of specially marked case entries and in-venue scratch card entries.

Across the promotion, enter up to 10 times - 5 from specially marked packs and 5 from venues.

You can purchase a specially marked case of Great Northern at most retail liquor stores.

To play in venue, use our pub finder to find a participating venue near you.

• Great Northern Case: Each specially marked case of Great Northern contains a code inside the box.

• At the bar: Buy 2 or more participating Great Northern products (see above for more info) or a jug to share from participating venues to receive your scratch card. Scratch the card to reveal your code.

This may be due to several reasons:

• Please try double checking the code in your case and scratch card to ensure that it has been correctly entered in the app.
• Does the error message show that your code has already been entered? Each code is only valid once. If someone else has used this code already, it cannot be applied again.

There are 3 major prizes to be won, as follows: 1x Great Northern branded premium fishing boat, 600 Wrangler TT BMT, 1x Austrack Savannah X Forward Folding/Rear Slide Camper Trailer and 1x Kia Tasman SX Dual Cab Pick Up.

Every new unique code used to play The Greatest Catch gives you one entry into the Major Prize Draw. Keep track of any entries within the app by clicking “View stash” on the homepage.

Winners will be drawn on 15/06/2026 and will be notified within two business days.

After entering your code your entry to the major prize draw and your BCF voucher (if won) will be revealed.

1. Click “Let’s get started” when prompted with The Greatest Catch instructions
2. Cast your phone as per the gesture motion indicated in the app or press the “Cast button” to start fishing
3. Press the “Reel” button to reel in your prize
4. Repeat casting until you have cast all 3 reels

If you would like to skip the game, you can choose the “Skip and hook now” button at anytime to immediately reveal your catch. All catches will be stored in your stash.

Don’t worry, we will cast the reels for you if your app closed while casting reels. It may take up to 30 minutes for any fish or prizes that you have caught to be displayed in your stash. If you have caught a prize, you will also receive an email with details on how to redeem it.

The only prize in this game mode is bragging rights. Test your skills to reel in new fish species in this free to play mini game!

You need to have entered the Great Northern Greatest Catch at least once in order to unlock the Fish for Fun game.

Download the app, create an account, and enter your code to see if you have won a BCF voucher. If you've won a BCF voucher, check the email address associated with your account or your Stash in the app for info on how to use your voucher.

Confirmation of your prize will be sent to the email address associated with your account and can also be found in your Stash in the app. Please check either for info on how to collect your prize.

Once you have entered the code in the app, it may take up to 30 minutes to receive a prize or voucher redemption email. Check your marketing inbox and ensure that our email support@greatnorthernpromotions.com.au has been added to your safe sender list.

By following these steps, you can close your Great Northern account whenever you like. We want to ensure you have the best experience possible, even when it’s time to say goodbye. Data collected and used for the purpose of the Great Northern Greatest Catch promotion will be retained in accordance with the promotion’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Collection Notice and Privacy Policy

There are two ways to close your account - in the app or on the Close Account page.

In the app

‍

1. Open the Great Northern Greatest Catch app and tap the Menu icon in the top left corner of the Home screen.
2. Select Close Account.
3. Before you confirm, we’ll let you know that closing your account will permanently delete your account data, including any unused vouchers.
4. Confirm to close your account.
5. Once confirmed, your account will be closed and any unclaimed vouchers will be permanently removed.

On the Close Account page

‍

1. Go to the Close Account page.
2. Enter your email address into the form.
3. We’ll send you an email with a login code to verify you’re the account owner.
4. Enter the code into the form.
5. Click the button to confirm you’d like to close your account.
6. Once confirmed, your account will be closed and any unclaimed vouchers will be permanently removed.
